The members of the Swiss Film Acadamy awarded Kaya Inan the Swiss Film Award in the category “Best Editing” for the Project „Above and Below“. The festive ceremony took place on 18th of March in Zurich. Filmpunkt says: Congratulations, Kaya! …And is glad to have him on board for Heidi Specognas new film „Cahier Africain“.

The program advisory board of the ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe assembled at the Filmpunkt-offices in Cologne on 30th of March. Stefan Tolz, CEO Filmpunkt, who initiated ADAMI as project manager, discussed on how to carry on with the prize with the board members (former diplomats and media representatives).

The ADAMI – Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe was awarded in December for the first time. Filmpunkt-producer Stefan Tolz started the project as the program director.

For his cinematic approximation to the feeling of yearning, Thomas Riedelsheimer went to Couva de Moura for film-taking – one of the most notorious districts of Lisbon. In April, he returns to take some more material.
