Cahier Africain will be part of the International Competition at DOK Leipzig, the International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film, which has just started today. Among the Official Selection Heidi Specogna’s latest feature-length documentary which has just been awarded at Locarno is also nominated for the Silver Dove, the prize honoring an outstanding film on the topic of democracy and human rights. Additionally, Cahier Africain is nominated for the Goethe-Institut Documentary Film Prize for the best long German documentary film.
