ADAMI - Media Prize was a full success!

The ADAMI – Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe was awarded in December for the first time. Filmpunkt-producer Stefan Tolz started the project as the program director.

ADAMI is about sensitizing the media in the countries of the EU’s Eastern Partnership for issues of cultural diversity. It also gives media professionals from Eastern European countries (Armenia, Aserbijan, Georgia, Moldowa, Ukraine and Belarus) a stage.

The first award was broadcasted from Georgia’s capital and simultaneously translated into five languages – a full success! ADAMI was mainly funded by the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Stefan Tolz: “We hope that we can continue to award the ADAMI - Media Prize in future. Promoting values of ethnic and cultural diversity in media is always a long-term task – not matter in which countries.”
