With the broadcast of "Stalin's Cola" on Easter Sunday, April 5th, at 10:25 p.m. on MDR television, this unusual Soviet history, told from the perspective of a soft drink, is now coming to German home theaters. The film was produced by documentary film editor Thomas Beyer at MDR, the co-producing broadcaster. The film was inspired by Katja Wildermuth, the current director of Bavarian Broadcasting (BR), who was then responsible at MDR.
