In her moving feature-length documentary, Heidi Specogna follows the tragic fates of women in war-ravaged Central Africa.
In the focus lies a little school book in which the victims of war crimes enacted by Congolese mercenaries testified their horrific experiences. The book becomes a major piece of evidence at the International Court of Justice when Congolese troop leader Jean-Pierre Bemba is eventually brought to trial.
