After thepicture lock in October, cahier africain's sound is now finished! While actress Eva Mattes is the speaker in the German version, Salena Godden guides through the international version of the film. Matthias Lempert, an experienced sound mixer, handled the project. Film and sound were merged in the RuhrSoundStudios in Dortmund.
The documentary is co-produced by the Swiss company PS-Film and is also funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung Nordrhein-Westfalen.
