Cahier Africain nominated for German Film Award
Good news for CAHIER AFRICAIN! Yesterday, Monika Grütters, German Minister of State for Culture, and Iris Berben, head of German Film Academy, announced the final nominations for the German Film Awards 2017 (LOLA Awards). CAHIER AFRICAIN has been nominated for the award in the category of "BEST DOCUMENTARY FILM", which goes along with a prize money of 100.000 € for a future film project. Congratulations to director Heidi Specogna, Johann Feindt (camera), Kaya Inan (editing) as well as our great team. Within the upcoming six weeks the comittee of the German Film Academy will decide in a secret vote whether Heidi Specogna's latest documentary will receive a German Film Award eventually. The award ceremony will will take place on 28 April in Berlin.
