The Filmpunkt co-production BEFORE FATHER GETS BACK (EN ATTENDANT PAPA) celebrates its French TV premiere on 28 March 2019.
Mari Gulbiani's documentary piece about two girls living in the Georgian Pankisi valley, is shown on French channel France 2.
Until 5 June you can watch the film on France 2 video library under this link (only possible in France).
After the initial screening we already received very positive reviews from the French media. The renowned newspaper Le Monde called EN ATTENDANT PAPA a superb film; rarely, it reads, has such a hard subject, the one of the departures for jihad in Syria and Iraq, been filmed with as much grace as in Mari Gulbiani's documentary.
